The Conservative "engine"

I never really thought that any ideology was behind "conservatism." I believed that it was a label for actions and policies of a people who have only accidentally found each other. Conservatives have a point of view of the world as being outside/other and they, not being a part. The Neoconservative "movement" included some intellectuals who found the Soviet Russia and Marxism a convenient target for their anger at the world. In fact a target group is VERY IMPORTANT to Conservatives to have a focus to "prove" just how bad "others" are.

During the Bush years, Wolfowitz was pointed to as the leader of the various political motives and moves to war with Vice President Cheny.... I think that after the Bush Administration finished its final days with the growth of the "Tea Party", if you can call it a "group", has agitated itself into a Self-loathing Party that is throwing any one who might be a constituent under the preverbal "Bus" just to show how much they REALLY HATE everything. sigh. I used David's work once again....
